Reporting to the Head of Quality, the H&S Officer will be responsible for overseeing all functions related issues and is expected to help embed a proactive/ preventative approach. S/he will offer actionable recommendations that will ensure adherence to legal impositions and lead to effective mitigation towards occupational health, environmental and safety risks.
The role in question is pivotal in establishing and maintaining a robust Health, Environmental and Safety management system. The job holder will oversee the development and implementation of safety plans, lead risk assessments, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and Environmental regulations. Role will be instrumental in organizing training sessions, conducting audits, and maintaining comprehensive records and documentation to support a culture of safety within the organization.
